For Better For Worse....

just got back from a friend's wedding and i'm tired...
to start with the wedding was yesterday at 2pm. was glad to finally see them get married. the ceremony was great, a nice outdoor wedding. originally it was panned to be an indoor wedding..since afterall it is january, but when the temperture hit 70 most of the week they decided to move it outdoors. at the reception things were looking great, their uncle set everything up in an empty field at his ranch. everyone was drinking and having a grand ol time. that is until Pete showed up. he ruined everything. you see...Pete is their uncle's bull. he had been but away in the barn, but somehow managed to get out and made his way to the fence line next to the reception. a few people including myself had noticed the bull in the adjact field but didnt think anything of it, after all we WERE in the country. it wasnt until the cake had been cut and everyone was toasted with the champagne when pete decided that he wanted to join in. it all happened so fast, but apparently Pete charged the fence and broke through and ran straight to the tent where the reception was being held. luckily the only casualty was a few tables. everyone pitched in to get Pete back into the barn and then the drinking carried on into the night. A wedding to remember for sure.
