blah blah blah what were you expecting?

Teehee

It's not like we have a huge audience that reads this anyways right? So I don't have to feel guilty that we tend to ... you know... not write.

Just over a month. Most of that time for me was spent down in Tex-ass with my love, Joey. Christmas away from your family is odd, but it was okay. Christmas away from my friends kinda sucked.

I did manage to take a couple traditions down for his family at Christmas. Perogies and Nanaimo bars. Both of which, from what I could tell, were a pretty big hit. Those of you that have not tried either - you poor poor things.

New Years Eve was full of promise - with a hockey game and then (if there was time) a visit maybe to see Frolic play. Well, I woke up that morning feeling a little... off. Quite off. I knew what was around the corner and I was pretty sure it was pneumonia. We went out for lunch. I came home, my ass hit the couch and barely moved again for a couple days. I had my first trip to an American clinic. (Joey - was it... 4 hours? I can't remember...) but at the end of it all, it turns out I was right and it was pneumonia. He gave me a couple perscriptions, and after 2 more nights of fever and chills I was on the road to recovery.

So - because of the pneumonia - Happy Belated New Years :D

After that - I did a lot of vegging during the day when Joey was at work.

A couple of times we made the drive over to Oklaholma to visit the Windstar casino. It was great fun, and I came out slightly ahead each time, so that was even better. One time when I go down there we're gonna head to Vegas, on the strict promise that we won't elope. For no reason other than it will probably make immigration more difficult!

So now I'm back in Regina, trying to find a videographer. It's fun. I found a dress - YAY! It's slowly coming together. But I really wish I was still in Tex-ass :(
