A moment of silence...

It is with great sadness that I report to you that Nick and Jessica - "the Newlyweds" have split...

Fuck that - who didn't see that fuckin' bus coming from about 5000 miles away? Who fucking cares??

:D

Have a good day and take solice in the fact that:
a. you're not them
and
b. you're not them

F'n Calgary...

Janie didn't post because Janie gets tired of being the only one who writes on this damn thing!

So hello from the giant wasteland that IS Calgary. Okay - harsh - I know, so many people love it. I JUST DON'T GET IT!

I was lucky enought to have Joey come up to meet our new neice this passed weekend and spent the entire first little bit on pins and needles hoping that he wasn't going to bust out a "I love Calgary - let's live here!!" - which, thankfully, he didn't. As with me, he's of the "it's a nice place to visit" mentality. I love this friggin' man!

So up here visiting my brand new neice - and she's pretty damn cute. I would like to show a picture, but I'm not entirely sure I remember how - so it'll be a mystery - maybe I will, maybe I won't.

(ah ha! I WILL!)

In other non-Calgary-non-baby news....

I'm moving back to Regina. I have an appartment for 01December (my close friend's husband owns buildings) and am looking forward to having my own place again. Upon discussing with Joey where we should lived after we're married we settled on Regina - at least for the time being. So I figured - might as well get there now. I'm looking forward to not being 28 and living in my parents basement again. I'm looking forward to being still awake at 6am and not having to pretend i've been sleeping for hours when I get up to pee. I'm looking foward to losing all the weight I've gained being back at home because I can control what is an is not in the house to eat. I'm looking forward to spending more time with alll the kids again. I'm looking forward to bugging Loafy, MacMillMann and CMann more frequently.

Sooooooooooo much fun!!

Ciao!

what a week....

i'm kinda surprised that Janie hasn't posted about this yet... but she's got a new niece. She knows more of the details than i do, so i'll let her post about it if she wants.

since a traditional week begins on Sunday.. I guess it all starts with the Vikings and Giants football game. To be honest i did't see much, i was at Steak and Ale with my mom, and the game was on one of the tv's in the bar. two waiter are talking and one says "I think I'll go for the Vikings since they are having a tough year." to which the other one replied "Well we want the Vikings to win since the Giants are in our division."

the first waiter could not wrap his head around what the Giants were in the Cowboy's division.. much less why the Cowboys were inthe "Northeast Conference" as he kept saying. Anyway Vikings win last minute field goal.

that brings us to Monday... the Cowboys and Kennedy Allyn.

both happened around the same time.. .well Kennedy was being stubborn and didnt come out until Tuesday morning at 1:11am Texas/Saskatchewan time. So back to Monday... the Cowboys played ho-hum for 55 minutes.... and pulled off the most impressive comeback in recent memory. (sorry Kent since you didn't get to watch the game.) listening to the game on the radio was quite fun made work go by quickly...

so now early tuesday... Kennedy was finally cut out of her mom's belly. Already the hell raisin' Dowhanuik gene howing... Makes her daddy miss the Cowboy game, puts Meghan thru over 36 hours of labour, and to top it all off, she shits in her before coming out.

oh ya... and I'm leaving friday morning to go to Calgary to see this lil hellion.
